As the bloggers point out, US drones bombed multiple locations within Pakistan within three days of Obama’s promises of a new way of engaging with the Muslim world. Those strikes killed only twenty people. This blog documents all those who have been killed since.

The Pakistani government’s cave in to the demands of the religious groups in Swat is a shame. This religious zeal to enforce the so called Sharia Law is a disguise to force the views of a few on the majority population. Let us wake up to this menace and as progressive people all over the world, do our utmost to stop it. Write letters to the Pakistani Newspapers, telegrams and emails to the President and the Prime Minister that promulgation of Sharia Law is undemocratic. The majority of people in Pakistan are apposed to the misogynistic practice of the religious groups.
